German for advanced beginners (CEFR A2) 2013

Our goal in this class is reaching the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

After this class you will be able to:

Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Passing an entrance test OR having passed the final exam in one of my A1 classes.

Having a Google+ Account.


We will most likely need 18 sessions.

Classes will be taught weekly and will take at least 1,5 hrs. On Google+ live Hangouts. You need Google+ for this.

Classes will take place on Saturdays, 9.00-10.30 PM BERLIN TIME

In order to pass this class I will request:

Active participation

Regular attendance (No more than 3 missed classes)

Passing a test at the end of the semester
