Required Materials-
1) Japanese Keyboard Input on your computer. This is already available in Windows, you just have to set it up. Here are some instructions I found with a Google search that seem up to par, please use the class subreddit or irc chat to ask questions if you have problem. If you Google search 'Install Japanese Keyboard Input', you can find other resources to help you with this.
2) Rikaikun/Rikaichan. This is a browser extension for Chrome/Firefox, respectively. Please download and install these. If you are using IE, may Princess Mononoke have mercy on your soul.
I have studied Japanese for over half of my life (16 years). I was formally taught for all 8 years of high-school and college, and graduated with a BFA in Japanese Language and Literature.
I have experience assistant teaching introductory Japanese.
