This course is unfortunately closed.
This course is intended for those who have never touched an HTML file in their life, however as the course progresses it will gradually get more advanced and therefore could be useful to you in the future even if you know a lot about Web Development.
The purpose of this course is simple, I was already going to make a website; and through the process of doing so I will go over each individual part and try to explain it as in depth as I have time to. This will range from the basics of "What is a website?" and how to program basic HTML/CSS all the way to creating a web app with Ruby on Rails / Batman.js with many other languages in between.
This class is intended for those who have absolutely no experience in building websites. As this course progresses it will gradually get more advanced and therefore may be useful if you are looking for a specific topic.

Class Schedule Since this is going to be an ongoing project I am not sure how many total lessons there will be or how often they will arrive. I can give an estimate of at least one new lesson per week, sometimes more and sometimes I might not have enough time to do one. Check our class page (/r/gamegenome) and our twitter(twitter.com/thegamegenome) for updates.
I have built websites for about 7 years. I started in high school building basic html sites with Dreamweaver and Front Page Express. Gradually I got more advanced and started two community fan sites for video games using PhP content management systems (Joomla and Drupal). Those sites were WAR-RvR.net and DCUOSource.com.
