118 A workshop setting course that will focus not only on getting feedbqck on your poetry and prose, but help the student develop their own critiquing skills. Being able to articulate the why and how a work is succeeding is just as important as creating a work.
depending upon class size we will workshop a poem or short story from each student bi-weekly. In the event of a larger class size, these will be broken up into groups, to allow for a more concentrated workshop of your work.

A strong grasp on the English language, some experience in a creative writing class is encouraged,but not required,
BA in English with a minor.in Creative.Writing. Published poet in six nationally.circulated journals. Former assistant poetry.editor at The Gulf Coast lit journal. Current MFA canidate at a top 10 CWP.
