If able, not required but would be nice, read Gaston Leroux's "Phantom of the Opera" so that you have an understanding of the story. I recommend an abridged version.
Supplies needed: -Access to internet -(optional) personal reading or viewing of any version of "Phantom of the Opera" -Ability to accept others opinions -Microsoft Word and Powerpoint (or equivalent) -Ability to have fun!
During this class, we will look at different versions of "The Phantom of the Opera" which include: -Gaston Leroux's novel -The 1925 Lon Chaney Film -1943 Claude Rains Film -The 1983 Maximilian Schell -The 1990 Charles Dance TV Series -The 2004 Andrew Lloyd Webber movie -The 2011 25th Anniversary performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical -2012 Recorded film of Love Never Dies (sequel to ALW's musical)
Class will start on December 12th, 2014. Links will be posted for assignments and videos.

I'm a 14 year old girl who has memorized everything about the ALW musical, and knows far too much about every other version of "Phantom of the Opera".
